parts of the fabric so it would look like what the whole area looks like now which is too matchy matchy with the fabric, imo.

I feel like I'm not seeing it properly anymore, so please give me your honest feedback and ideas.
A mostly completed cross stitched crow on a dark teal linen with lighter spots mottling it. The head has purple accents. The wing has a few stitches in a medium teal color but lots of incomplete areas as well, which are almost the same color as the medium teal floss color.

Finally finished a little something I’ve been working on. Just a Froggy in a Froggy Chair, a #DTIYS from @legendfroggy.bsky.social. This is the cutest frog I’ve seen all year, but I’m a cross stitcher, so here’s some fiber pixel art.

Seven and a half months to completely mod an AI pattern into making sense is going to be my crowning achievement as a cross stitcher. I am so proud of making this Stardew Valley map just how I wanted 🥰

My completed Stardew Valley cross stitch: a map of Pelican Town, complete with the wizard’s forest, player farm, town square, ocean, mountains and surrounding forests. A sign in the top left corner reads”Stardew Valley” in the game’s signature font. A photo of the pattern used to create the cross stitch, which was unknowingly AI when purchased - so I used it as a blueprint to draw over and modify to make if functional. It is a hodgepodge of too-bright colors incorrectly used (example: the ocean/rivers are mainly yellow), but I got through it! A photo of my growing cross stitch gamer collage, which is now four pieces: The menu item list from Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, the campfire scene from Crono Trigger, the galaxy map from the original Star Fox and the player map from Stardew Valley.
