Today I stood with Starbucks workers in my district to say: enough is enough. They are fighting for living wages and fair schedules while Starbucks’ new CEO Brian Niccols makes $98 million a year. I’ll be supporting these workers until they get the contract they deserve.

I’m devastated by today’s shooting in Crown Heights and am in touch w/ first responders. Praying for those who were killed & injured and their loved ones. Our response to the scourge of gun violence must include real investments in jobs & social services to keep our people whole.
