I’m okay with discourse. But I will ignore you if you’re disrespectful. Most of what people think goes for discourse is mostly a lethal amount of ad hominem. I genuinely don’t have the time, energy, or desire to participate in unproductive arguments that do not create growth, community, or change.

2. People seem to be very focused on her downfall, which could be a variety of things from craft, taste, publicity, spotlight lost to smaller artists, etc. But still…why is she being singled out over many other male artists who do the same?

1. As much as I don’t like that Taylor Swift’s song lyrics being equated to poetry, attacking her also feels like supporting systems that are afraid of having successful women be in power.

After what I’ve gone through over the years as a neurodivergent individual, I really don’t care about external validation anymore. I was forced to mask and internalize frameworks not suited to me as a person for almost 20 years. I am not doing it anymore. I’m done. And I’m not sorry.

I like Taylor Swift. I just don’t think she’s a poet. Songwriting and poetry can overlap, and the forms share a history. However, the lyrics she writes are simply what they are—catchy pop lyrics.

I fail to see how this is related to a post about the bridges between literary genres.… I also have never supported Trump. I had a weird religious stint in my life, and have a lot of religious trauma from that time period in my life. But I am talking about literary work that crosses between genres

It also makes more sense why I have had a hard time receiving help from sources that really just wanted to free me from a pattern that was killing me mentally and emotionally. As someone who is neurodivergent, it really is difficult to survive in general. Even harder when the support is the problem

Beginning to think that my BPD is barely even the problem, and I have extremely religious parents with an authoritarian parenting style. And I’ve just been gaslit into thinking that how I operate is dysfunctional when I just didn’t have the tools I needed. Like fuck. I’m too poor to get out of this.
