I am sorry that me pointing out your gaslighting and deflection makes you uncomfortable. I see I hurt your feelings. Sometimes it is hard for people to see when they are doing wrong. I still wish you introspection and growth. Take care of yourself.

The thing is these are people with valid refugee status. That is why alot of them now are lawyering up. Because they are deporting not just people who came here without documentation. I have seen this from friends as well. They are detaining and deporting people who went through the process.

Calling something suicidal implies that the thing can cause self harm or death. You said empathy can cause that. I would say that is calling empathy a bad thing. Your response is gaslighting and deflection from a stance. Your use in vocabulary is important when conveying points of view.

I would agree there is nothing radical about checking people ahead of time. However alot of the people being affected by this aren't criminals. Many of them came as a refugee. That isn't an easy process either. So imagine doing all that work to prove you need asylum just to be sent back to the place

Subsidies are not a way to get around the law. it is a grant gifted by a community or governing power to help people. It is never done without consent of a community. In France subsidies are used to make daycare cheaper for middle class families. It is not the dirty thing you are lead to believe.

Empathy is a good thing. It is what creates a strong and happy society. It is sad that you are so jaded by loyalist ideology and politics. You seem smart if not misguided. Hopefully in the future you will take the time for introspection and grow.

The plan says it works with private insurance companies that are commonly used together with medicaid. So it is to help old people who can not help themselves and have received emergency care.

Yeah, there was someone who showed me an elder care plan for severally ill undocumented people that my state provides. But I don't think they completely understood what they were reading because they assumed it was proof that the US government gives medicaid to undocumented people.

True 👍 they give more than they receive based on facts. Which is sad because if we just gave people easier paths to citizenship it could boost our economy and make the US all what it claims to be.

I actually tried to explain this because I think they are just not understanding it. Welfare law is complicated and I think quite a few of these people think this way because they believe their politicians wouldn't mislead them. But misleading politicians aren't rare.

they showed me something that said that NY helps old undocumented people get insurance. but obviously did not read it. They also did not think it was weird that it came from the NYS medical market place. Also that it said young people have to go through HRA to get state help. NY is helping Nyers.

I really should stop trying to explain things to people who have a low reading comprehension. T.T This guy seriously thought that new york was giving medicaid to non citizens. They don't get that the state covers some coverage and other is by the federal goverment.
