Trump hates veterans, he's referred to us as suckers and losers. He's insulted families of the fallen. Republicans are constantly and consistently disenfranchising veterans at every turn.

Just got this email from the VA. I'm a disabled veteran who was once proud.

But specifically (and falsely) pointing out Democrats are blocking the resolution (despite all branches being Republican controlled) is fucking disgusting.
VA email about the government shutdown. Highlighted is a sentence blaming Democrats.

I am of two minds. The first being that we've had it too good for too long, and by we I mean the US. We've forgot how bad it can get. The suffering from disease, the oppression of others. And now the other, we need it to get much harder before we do better.

We learn, but we also forget.
