Labour MPs reckon that if the ceasefire holds it will be harder for opponents to mobilize against them over the Israel-Palestine issue in the next election. There are concerns though about whether the fragile agreement will hold. More in London Playbook PM.

Toilet paper has more utility than a “ceasefire” agreement signed by a Zionist

Once again, the Zionist definition of “ceasefire” is “you cease, we fire”.

The evilest trick Israel always plays is to sign ceasefire agreements and immediately violate them.

Violating truces and human beings is in Israel's DNA.

Already today, Israel has:

-Conducted a drone strike on Khan Younis in Gaza

-Shot & wounded two others near Khan Younis

-Killed 5 Palestinians in Gaza City

-Fired on & wounded a several others near Jabalia

All in violation of the “ceasefire.”

“Israeli” ceasefires only ever apply to the other party. They’ll continue to kill whomever they want, whenever they want until they are stopped. They see themselves as occupying an altogether different moral plane than their enemies, like any colonizer.
Tweet from Quds News Network @QudsNen
BREAKING: Three Palestinians were killed after Israeli quadcopter drones opened fire on residents inspecting their homes in the Shujaiyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

I bet all the bureaucracy of making sure only a tiny portion of the population get the vaccine is less cost effective than just handing it out.
ayoub.bsky.social
To be clear: the decision to deny most people in the UK the covid vaccine is related to money, *not* based on a public health concern. In other words, Labour did not allocate enough money for covid vaccines so their "cost-effectiveness" end up the determining factor. www.gov.uk/government/p...
For the development of advice relating to COVID-19 vaccination from autumn 2025, JCVI has resumed the use of a standard cost-effectiveness assessment, in line with other routine vaccinations in the national immunisation programme and the JCVI code of practice. The advice is based on modelling of the impact and cost-effectiveness of vaccination where clinical outcomes are stratified by age, high-risk clinical disease groups and patients with immunosuppression. The use of cost-effectiveness is a key pillar in the consideration of immunisation programmes, ensuring that the substantial investments in the programmes are a good use of public money, and that those funds would not be better spent on other healthcare interventions. This has led to a more refined approach to the targeting of the COVID-19 immunisation programme, with a focus on individuals where there is good evidence of a high risk of hospitalisation and/or mortality.

I think there's something to be said for bass to be more of a physically demanding instrument to play. Maybe it comes from the upright bass era, i dunno.

That Grabber I bought is the only full scale I've woned for a while. Had a bunch and yeah was always like wrestling an alligator. That said they have a sound you can't do with a 3/4.

particularly callous and inhumane detail here. these people never gave a fuck about Jews
"In September 2020 “Gordstein” was one of three complainants against Riva Joffe, an 80-year-old Jewish veteran of the anti-Apartheid struggle in South Africa.

Her sin was to have described Israel as an Apartheid state (a view shared by Amnesty, Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights organisation B’tselem) and to have urged Jeremy Corbyn to stand up to the “Zionist lobby.”

The Labour Party opened a formal investigation and Joffe spent the closing days of her life penning an immensely dignified response from her death bed. “This frenzy of purging you are driven to – it’s not the behaviour of mature adults. It smacks of desperation, fear and panic,” she wrote.

Joffe lived in Starmer’s constituency and knew him personally. But a direct request on behalf of her son that the charges against her be posthumously dropped did not even elicit a response."

fair play, you can get decent 3/4 basses now but she's still using a Precision

I do not know a note of Sabrina Carpenter's music but I always appreciate it when a fellow shortarse plays a full scale bass, a genuinely herculean effort

did it once in the studio where we were doing a Gary Numan cover and wanted the guitar to match the bpm but it wasn't recorded with a click or anything, and it was the 1990s too. The engineer set up a gate that was triggered by a MIDI drumpad that I whacked along in time with to trigger.
