the nozzle would only be in a fixed position (as they would need to make a low pass regardless), but the dragon would get access to a valve that would allow it to adjust how much water/retardant its spraying below

its super annoying that its so damn far out from Albuquerque but at least they have regular shuttle service to and from the city, so there's that

I got ahold of my bunkmate, some guy from MIT working in anomalous materials, doesn't talk much but he's got a snazzy ponytail though!
