What defines a “Cinema Camera” ? For me it has to have a raw codec for on board internal recording. Not just a way to do it externally. I’m talking to you Sony FX30. Trying to get clean keys etc. with an .mp4 or .mov just doesn’t cut it. #postchat #postsky #vfx

Making them is not too bad. The hard part is satisfying the agency and client when they complain about missing parts of the frame. The solution is of course framing for 9x16 at the shoot. But that would cost twice as much which they definitely don’t want.
