Because if they did that, it'd be one slide. That would mean a) they can't charge whatever bullshit they charge unis, and b) they couldn't waste your time and make you infuriated, which I'm pretty sure is the main purpose of most of this training.

Passkeys and password managers are your friends.

Get Proton pass, and generate a new complex password for each service. It also handles passkeys

The modern advice is that even you shouldn't know your passwords.

Not that I don't approve of ragging on asinine GDPR training.

Meshroom has for some time been one of my top choices for open-source or free photogrammetry software, offering a really deep amount of customization and tinkering. However, while this blog made a big splash early on reviewing all the different open-source photogrammetry software, I've found they haven't really kept up with Metashape or RealityScan, and I'm just not using them much any more.

At the recent SEB conference, I traveled sans laptop, working on the assumption I could do everything urgent on my OnePlus Open. I could... but what I found was that some tasks just needed a larger screen (specifically remote-ing into a remote workstation was difficult to make out everything on the small 6-7" unfolded screen). So upon my return, I started looking into AR glasses, for which I'd seen a few reviews on YouTube, in passing.

The new focus stack + pixel shift on the new Nikon Z8 firmware is awesome! Those numbers are mm. 25 focus positions, with 32 pixel shift images at each position, totaling 64GB of RAW images before merge and stack. Nikkor MC 105mm.

We're using bmesh for other stuff, but it didn't seem necessary for this. I did toy with ellipsoids but haven't found a use for them yet. Will take a look though, thanks
