Midway through cooking a Pork Bourguignon (bit of a tester) for later with a homemade soda bread. In the oven and relaxing for a bit with a glass of red.

Pre dinner Aperol Spritz. We just tested the soda bread and it’s bloomin’ lush. Can’t wait 👍
The worst part now is the wait, soda bread is made, sweet potato chips cut and ready for the air fryer and a variety of cheeses and accompanying biscuits on standby. Just the aioli to dip the chips in still to make.
Think I’ll file that under moderately successful 👍
I never understand people on holiday, wandering round with a face like a slapped arse!! Stay home and be a miserable f**k, it’s cheaper, probably bemoaning the lack of warm beer and a fry up 🤣🤣

Large G&T pre pork going into the oven in twenty minutes. Everything is prepped, spuds peeled to par boil, parsnips and carrots peeled (sprouts are frozen), stuffing balls are in the fridge for now as is the yorkie batter, just getting it all in at the right time now 👍
