Ultra debut at 60 km, no niggles, just a sore toe and some DOMS! Pleasantly surprised when I got a cup, which probably means I should read the race PMs more carefully.

First shouldn’t-have-worm-tights-run. Easy peasy, no niggles, just nice. Well within first rope time and low HR.

I use Yaktrax Pro traction devices, they are dirt cheap in Europe at least. Better on compact snow than on ice but compared to spikes, they run ok on paved roads as well…
