Decent round at the Deer today. Some up and down; a couple of unlucky holes, but threw pretty well overall. Nailed the drive on 18 but couldn’t quite pull off the long birdie putt.

Still, great day to be out. Perfect weather.

A lot of tight holes that amount to “if you miss your tee line by even a little, you’re likely double-bogey at best.”

And a 375’ s-curve uphill through a 20’-wide fairway is in no way a “par 3” for any mortal.

Played Cliffside @ Warriors Path w/ the boy today (at his request).

This is, IMO, the most difficult course in our region - and probably the most difficult I’ve played ever.

Finished better than last time at +11, but that’s not saying much. Had some good shots but wasn’t A-game.

I have a disproportionately high number of pink discs. Usually go for them over duller colors just so they'll be easier to find in the weeds/woods. 👍

Leopard would prob be a fairway for me - I max just < 300' usually & don't throw anything faster than 8. Haven't tried it; will keep in mind.

Did pick up champion-plastic Mako3 & Wombat3. Halo Mako3 is the slightest bit understable at speed, so hoping the champion resists slightly more.

This is delusional. You can't support a hospital on only an ER - they're not the profit center of a hospital! ERs take enormous charity care losses due to EMTALA and have to be cross-subsidized by more profitable service areas.
