Non-artists aren't gonna get this, which is most people, but Tron is an artist's movie, that's why it's had so many guys like Nomura, Daft Punk, NIN, etc wanting to come and work on it and it usually brings good work out of people even if the sequels are a bit mid script/acting or whatever.

Never been the most popular movie ever,but it's weird thing seeing some hate on the original Tron movie now just because Jared Leto is in a sequel they made 40 years later..

Weinstein, Ezra Miller,they did all that shit,people say Jared did similar stuff but in 2025, you'd figure it'd be out by now

Most studios engaging in the gacha market have a shutdown rate between 0%-50% right now, Squares is over 90%. Rough but close estimates. People act like they are anomalous, because they are.

Yeah all these games will shut down eventually, but comparing the quantity and the rates, SE are easily the most garbage even by gacha standards, some random anime tie in games lasted longer than SE's games, wtf!

Nintendo stopped updating Pocket Camp but kept it up as a DL (This should be the model)
Cygames lost Dragalia and World flipper, some eng servers, but the GBF etc still being maintained
Mihoyo taking no losses so far, and the other big chinese games seem to be doing OK
FGO say no more

SE has no exaggeration shitted out a whole new FF gacha every single year for the passed decade,amazingly JP Visions is still up unlike the rest. And all their other series gacha are dead. No other studio has been doing it like this,churning out shit just to die. Just facts.

I feel crazy whenever people talk about square enix mobile games because I bother to at least engage with them on a cursory level so people going "heh yeah this one will EOS instantly like every Square Enix mobile game" because the instant failures are fairly few and several have 5+ years
