Mountain Hare (Lepus timidus): This 65cm (26in) mammal is a Palearctic hare, meaning it is adapted for mountainous and polar habitats. Isolated populations are found in Siberia, Finland, Ireland, Scotland, Baltic states, Poland and the Alps. Nice photo taken by Alistair Kemp in Glenshee, Scotland.

As @robfordmancs.bsky.social says, why would the EU negotiate anything ambitious with us like a Customs Union when they know our ridiculous voting system could put Farage in power on 30% of the vote who would tear it up. There’s a pro Europe majority but we need #PR to express it and reassure the EU
