You don’t always need a studio to take a studio-style photo - I like to start my outdoor shoots with a quick portraiture session (while the dogs are still clean!)

This is one of the main reasons why I won’t do off-lead photoshoots in inappropriate locations. Shoots on the lead can be great and with modern software it’s often possible to airbrush the lead away from many shots! 1/2

Woodland photoshoots come with their own challenges and opportunities! They are great for more carefully-planned close-up shots, making use of the available scenery and wildflowers to frame the dog (and sometimes to conceal muddy legs!)
