Congratulations to Eileen Higgins for flipping the mayor’s seat in Miami! She will be the first woman in the city’s history and the first Democrat in nearly 30 years.

We are soooo going to flip the House next year.
With her runoff victory tonight, Eileen Higgins will be Miami's next mayor—the first woman in the city’s history and the first Democrat in nearly 30 years elected to the office.

Congrats, Mayor-elect!

Taxpayers forced to bail out Trump to the tune of $12B in order to save US farmers from Trump’s insane tariffs. Any one who thinks this is good agriculture policy should have his/her head examined.

Agreed. Kiss sucks.
There is nothing less rock and roll than kissing a despot's ass.

Good advice. Thanks! ❤️
It’s all so exhausting but stay engaged even when the news feels like a migraine wearing a trench coat. Authoritarianism counts on exhaustion. Democracy depends on very boring persistence.

This is disgusting and wrong and must be opposed.
"We take house after house. When we finish the job, we will go to the NEXT neighbourhood!" - Israeli settler

A settler casually outlines the Israeli project: house by house, neighborhood by neighborhood, until Palestine is a memory. This is Zionism—it's erasure, celebrated in real time.

Stupidity is their brand.
Hundreds of millions. Wow, that's a lot. That's more than have died in every single war combined in the entire world since 1900.

Things are not going well for Trump at this point. In many ways, on many levels. So he’s throwing Hegseth under the bus.

Pete is going to prison.

Without warning & for no reason, a Boston college student is detained & deported by ICE as she is about to fly home to visit her parents in Texas.

This is insane! Americans don’t support this kind of mindless cruelty.

I would think so.
You know, apropos of nothing in particular, and although I haven't researched it yet, I strongly suspect that a president starting a foreign war to distract from his extensive ties with child sex traffickers is probably a high crime or misdemeanor under the Constitution's impeachment clauses.

New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.
