Point taken. But the debate on whether the Gaza War is technically “genocide” or not has often been used as a way distract us from directly confronting Israel’s actions in Gaza. 67,000 dead is 67,000 dead, whether it’s called genocide or not.

You’re right in that Gaza and the Iraq/Afghanistan wars are not the same (my rhetoric got a little carried away there). In my view, however, the latter 2 wars were also unjust. But the scale of killing was/is much more significant in Gaza.
