Lovely day for Full Council!

Grateful to the Labour group for failing to submit any motions before the deadline meaning we might get away slightly earlier than usual and can enjoy a bit of sun!

Notwithstanding that this is unenforceable, this basically requires trans people to out themselves multiple times a day, every time they use the toilet at work. Our national parliament should not be stripping people of their dignity in this way.

The move follows the UK Supreme Court's landmark ruling over the definition of a woman.

This is beyond belief. UK Government officials lobbied on behalf of the private business interests of a corrupt, authoritarian, foreign leader.

As charities start to struggle & services are axed, an FOI request has shown that not a single Glasgow Labour MP has raised the impact of ENICs increases with the Treasury.

Glasgow’s Labour MPs promised to stand up for the city but yet again they’re entirely missing in action.

Christina was one of the most authentic, principled and committed people I’ve had the privilege to know.

She was never anything but kind, generous and just generally a great and very funny person. She’ll be much missed and my thoughts are with all her family and friends.
