I understand why you're doing it with the tag team division. That at least makes more logical sense. Happy to see Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize. Hopefully this is more than just a one-off.
So, at the beginning of #AEWCollision , Adam Page comes out and says he is not done with Samoa Joe. He plans on making his life miserable. I don't understand why the four-way needs to take place. Bobby Lashley and Hook don't really feel like they're going to be the guy.
And I was thinking we were going to get something cinematic from the tag team championship match and while I appreciate the sacrifices of all the men and the legends put over the newer stars, it didn't hit right for me.
Both Women’s Championship matches had great layered stories in them. The one main issue I have with the show the stipulation matches I think took a lot of energy out of the main event it didn't feel like there was a strong enough button or a tease for what is to come.
Here's my honest review of last night's #NXTHalloweenHavoc: I think it was a good night of action with some stories sprinkled in. I thought the opening tag match was a lot of fun. The Day of the Dead match went way harder than I was expecting.
It was a means to an end. And that's fine. Appreciate all the Jeff Hardy spots. I feel like if we had more Cody involved throughout the episode it would have tied things together a little bit more.
I like what they did with Carmelo Hayes, they smartly position him as the protagonist without losing the persona. And with the character learning from his past mistakes with Trick Williams. While I appreciate Big Jim and Drew McIntyre in the ring, there wasn't a lot to this main event.
I really didn't like that spot where Zelina Vega got ejected . If Vega and Black are supposed to be a tandem with a plan and very cerebral then they need to do better in presenting them that way. It really exposed the referee.
Speaking of James I thought she showcased what she could do without overshadowing the champion. I think the MFT have a better presentation with the face paint now. I really do enjoy Ilja Dragunov as a character, his energy and his work are phenomenal.
She talks like a heel, she walks like a heel. So maybe with that delineation solidified she can have a little bit more depth. I really think Kiana James should be with Jade Cargill and not Giulia.
Going back and watching it again I think it was fine. The trouble here is Jade Cargill doesn't come across as a babyface. So her turning doesn't feel like a big departure.
Last night's #SmackDown in the home of the Arizona Sun Devils definitely had a level of aggression a little bit higher than usual. Tempe definitely was loud. The big story of the night was Jade Cargill attacking Tiffany Stratton and while initially I don't think this resonated well .
I know it's WWE's third tier brand, but there were some really good promo segments on #WWEEvolve this week with Aaron Rourke, It's Gal and Wendy Choo that deserve checking out. You can watch it for free in the states on Tubi . Or internationally on WWE's YouTube in a few days
We have multiple stories going on in the tag team tournament which is nice. This is probably the best pay-per-view follow-up they've done in a long while.
Doing the angle with Mercedes and Statlander/ Harley Cameron felt a little rushed. And the momentum may peter out before the pay-per-view next month. The tag team tournament will help but there is a possibility of starting at 60 and slowing down.
Having Bryan Danielson on commentary definitely gave it more depth in Moxley match with O'Reilly. Samoa Joe and the Opps as heels give them at least something to sink their teeth into. My only criticism and it's really a small one.
#AEWDynamite did some really good stuff this week. Mainly something that the company is usually not good at having good follow up to their pay-per-view. I like the story they're beginning to tell with Jon Moxley. Because at least there were ramifications for matches.
Don't get me wrong, character motivations are still wonky as hell but I think the Battle Royal told some nice stories.
Thoughts on #WWERaw : I thought for the most part the episode was pretty solid with some really good action and some nice story elements. Obviously, with Seth being injured they had to pivot and I think this was all in all pretty good.

Not sure I want to see Cody vs. Drew again just because there's not very much juice there. The match itself is fine. McIntyre has just been beaten to oblivion.
But I wonder if Sami is going to be elevated past that. As we head into the holidays. I like the message with Zelina Vega and Aleister. Simple but good.
We might get title match on Saturday Night's Main Event and then have a traditional elimination match at Survivor Series.
It feels like WWE is setting up a traditional Survivor Series tag match with the MFT's vs. Sami, Rey Fenix, Ilja, and Nakamura. But then you have the Wyatts and the tag team titles.
It's cool to see Ilja Dragunov back in a WWE ring. Was not expecting him to beat Sami Zayn in his first night back though. It makes me wonder what WWE plans for Sami Zayn to do going forward. Is he elevated to the main event? Is he still in the United States title picture?
