In 1978,I visited East Berlin,the wall up. The west Germans I was with pointed out the war torn streets, the cheap tin money,the Russian soldiers boots’ cardboard soles.Most disturbing was the downtrodden head hanging East Germans-Our country reminds me of this-preparation for authoritarianism.

Ready to appliqué. #QuiltSky #RobinRuthDesigns #NoShrinkingViolet #TulipPinkUntamed. This quilt has made me happy. The fabric is beautiful and the pattern is a geometric puzzle. Great fun very rewarding because of the large Dresden fan pieces.
