I recently launched my #Kubernetes "read-only" MCP server so I could chat with my clusters and get AI help troubleshooting issues without fear of it making a mess 😆

Feel free to give it a shot and tell me your thoughts!

Kubernetes apparently made it into an NCIS episode - DURING KubeCon. I guess theres any clear indicator that K8s has hit peek adoption, its that it gets used as techno-jargon to explain things in TV 🤣

Thanks @thisisnotapril.bsky.social for the find.

I need to shift a buffer forward for make-space-for-a-nonce reasons, and TIL that the source and destination of copy() may overlap (pkg.go.dev/builtin#copy).

I'm "Mega Man 2" years old 😂
I'm Legend Of Zelda years old.
I was born the same month and year that Time Bandits dropped. I am Time Bandits years old.

How old are you?

Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I asked ChatGPT Search about myself... And asked it if I had a blog. It hallucinated the blog part linking to a "not found" page and told me the references (which was correctly my blog, and no, there is no link to a 404) 😆

I first got the notification on MacOS after a first clean install. I was like "oh cool, new sound for macOS!" but nope, it's for Windows too! 😆
i hate the new discord notification sounds so much

Nearly 63,000

Welcome to the new users.
Bluesky is getting about 3k new users a day.

What you see today will be different tomorrow. This is beta. Things are improving daily.

Not everything is perfect or functional yet. You are part of an experiment & something new.

It’s a wild ride!

So many good people that want an invite and too bad we get just one every 2 weeks.

Some amazing friends @ Netlify would love one!

looks like we're finally going to move the web app off of staging.bsky.app and to just bsky.app. not so much because it's ready, but more because we're tired of that url.

we'll make staging automatically redirect. should happen by tomorrow, unless something explodes in the process

Happy 8th year anniversary to the day I gave a TV interview with a piece of chocolate stuck in my nose... And nobody told me about it before going into recording! 😂

So much this, as well as the fact that it shows good numbers, which makes investors happy with the short-term gain.

And Netlify is doing its annual Web Development Survey: super useful to get insight into trends, usage, technologies and more. If you have a minute, help us out by completing the survey and/or retweeting for reach. Details will be shared when done!https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/devsurvey2023

You're telling me you got into BlueSky and you're following 40k+ people? And you think you'll have time to read all of them?! 😂
May 2, 2023 at 1:28 AM
Also, what's up with the increase in account follows from accounts that follow 30k here? 😂

The shotgun approach? I had 12 notifications of follows! 😆

Having been in the gaming industry and helped ship AAA Games... So much this!

There's a similar situation too when building for Android vs iOS.

Canadians 🍁 gotta be proud of me: I bought 10 timbits and a tea. Came back to my desk, put them in front of me... And somehow I ate all 10 even before I could get two sips of tea!

I genuinely, don't remember eating them! I was watching a Youtube video and then, they were gone!

We just launched "Ship **it faster" @ Netlify. Did you know the average team @ Netlify ships around 140 times a week?

Good to know! And a good way to have some "safety" with a small team.

on bsky.social, forever, though we will probably give several invites per day out eventually. Having a graph of who brought who in is extremely helpful for tracking down botfarms and spam

In case you needed another reason to move away from the bird site 😞
April 25, 2023 at 3:33 PM
We really need more invites 😂 friends & folks on the bird site are like this...
April 25, 2023 at 2:55 PM
I got rickrolled by ChatGPT: I was looking at some code handling Youtube thumbnails, and ChatGPT wrote code to "demo" it. The video it used? You guessed it 😂
April 24, 2023 at 5:35 PM
Quite often I'm at the other bird site and every time I'm scrolling, I see a damn good tweet that I'm about to click and the app says "NOPE! timeline refresh!!!"

There's no way to find the tweet afterwards unless you remember the poster's name or smth.
And some of the best features are invisible. Like the scrolling is not janky. Your brain might not consciously know why you don’t want to use an app, but it’s usually because there’s something wrong with the way the scrolling works. Bluesky scrolls nicely. That MATTERS.
The Bluesky iOS app has exceeded my expectations. For a beta this feels like the true definition of an MVP. For the features it supports, I find them easy to discover, and use, so I gotta say y'all are killing it.

Well done Bluesky team.
