First impact story from the field in South Sudan. These are some of the hardest to reach, least served, most climate vulnerable communities on the planet. #leavenoonebehind #undpclimate

The other recent Netflix Japan gem is "The Makanai", watched it twice already.

A glimpse into the world of sumo, behind closed doors, without the glam. And absolutely incredible pictures. "Sanctuary" is another gem from Netflix Japan, now go binge.

Please, reserve "Muskeeter" label for Elon Musk when (not if) he joins the AT protocol.
custom labels are coming soon.

Someone bring the third Muskeeter on Bluesky, please!

And the rest is History. @pfrazee.com is the AT protocol's OG.
First!

Is there a @jack.bsky.social equivalent of 'just setting up my twttr' on Bluesky. I want to know who is THE original gangster in here. @jay.bsky.team, @rose.bsky.team, @emily.bsky.team, can we document this in the FAQ, for posterity and, you know, the Culture.

Has someone made a browser plugin to replace the word "Post" by the word "Skeet" throughout the web app (staging.bsky.app)? Sounds like something a code-savvy person could do in 5 minutes with ChatGPT. I am not one of those people, sadly. #skeetistheway

Early Twitter wasn't nearly as nice looking as the Bluesky client, but the conversations do have similar vibes. Probably the lack of videos and ads, plus heavy focus on witty skeetposting instead of news. Just what you need to uplift your mood. Won't last as it grows, but will enjoy it while I can.

As backwards as it sounds we are implementing a “no boobs (or dicks, or asses) on whats hot” policy. Sorry
May 1, 2023 at 5:33 PM
My "What's hot" tab is spammed by user count announcements. 50,000 was a milestone, but skeeting every thousand user joining Bluesky is a non-eventat this point.

100K, 500K, 1 million, 2 million, 5 million, 10 million is way enough.
WoW 53000 users completed 🎉🎉

I’ve laughed more at posts on this platform in the last couple of hours than on the other one in the last couple of months. I will try very hard not to ruin the vibe.

We have a beautiful monster in all of us, there is power in embracing it instead of taming it. Seen at Nelsa Guambe's home/gallery in Maputo, Mozambique. #africanart #mozambicanart #artskeeter

Saw a hundred paintings of artist Nelsa Guambe at her home/gallery in Maputo, Mozambique and this is the piece I settled for. Don't judge, doing it for the Culture.

Testing the moderation system, will this get marked as sensitive or sexually explicit?

In other news, the verge is reporting on skeets. It's legit.

These puns are gifts that keeps on giving. Found my new life purpose on Bluesky.
They’re ‘skeets’ now
Did we just hit the sicko event horizon on Bluesky?

Scared skeetless of the hellthread.
what part of “don’t join the hellthread or you’ll never be able to leave” was unclear?
April 29, 2023 at 6:41 AM
So...hellthread, hey.

Now that would be the perfect use case for hashtags in Bluesky. Or the protocol, or I don't know, I'm lost without them hashtags ###.
