I dont even think more time in the oven would have saved it. It was fundamentally flawed from the get go. The hubworld was boring and didnt actually play to ANY of Sonic's strengths. None of the game did really.

I was really dissatisfied with Frontiers so what if instead of that hot mess Mobius, sensing the calamity that was The End, decided it loved all of the little critters inhabiting it, despite all of their flaws, too much to let this outside cosmic deity destroy them so it just... crunch #Sonic
