I ordered a 4TB SSD to upgrade a family member's PS5 for Christmas a few days ago for less than £250. Checked the price again this morning and the price has skyrocketed to closer to £400! Looks like Samsung and Hynix-based drives may follow the same path and screw over their customers...

The AI boom has certainly fucked up the PC building scene, as a couple of weeks ago I could've gotten a Ryzen 7 7800X3D bundle for around £700, now the same equipment is closer to £900! Guess I'm going to wait another year for another hardware upgrade...
