Climate modelling is a powerful laboratory to understanding climate processes at various scales. However, not all models are able to capture the effects of smaller scale perturbations in the Earth System. Our PhD candidate, Alexander Thorneloe, using FESOM2 did a wonderful job at tacking this issue!
