Yeah I had to learn this one the hard way LMFAO. Your OC drawn on a white background only works if your story is out there and you already have a fanbase, people need reasons to care about the character in the first place.

yep, this is concept art for my webcomic time's carcass, the characters are all anthro cat people but there's still normal animals. (no domestic cats though LMAO there are wild/big cats though, same way that we have monkeys and apes) there are no humans or other anthro species either

my take on webtoons is that id rather wait like 15 years for a comic to end because the author makes money in some other way and only works on it on the side than seeing comics finished in 4 years with bad endings and rushed stories because the creators are on a contract and got burnt out
