Next year I'll do preorders starting in July, that way I can send them all out by mid-November/before Thanksgiving. And won't be panicking because the equipment at work is broken so I have to find it elsewhere last minute.

I highly recommend her work for both special birthday or Christmas letters and general support/sweetness letters! The holidays are coming up - never hurts to treat yourself or a friend to something lovely/fun!

This was brought up on a @pankraru.bsky.social stream. Starting and being bad at art is the hardest step, full stop. Knowing what you want to draw but struggling with stick figures is daunting and discouraging. But you cant skip it.

The biggest step isn't getting good at art, it's being willing to make art that doesn't match the idea of "good art" in your head.
Making a lot of imperfect art is an essential step toward making perfect art; a counterproductive goal you shouldn't have anyway.

hey! if I send you an invoice, shut the fuck up. do not mention NSFW stuff or even the word "furry" or anything, Paypal is company of dickbags searching for any excuse to harass creators. using invoices is the smartest/best/safest way of working as a comm artist, and this is explicit targeting
