Everton are evolving. Grealish's impact on style clear & they now lead PL in certain metrics (cutbacks etc)

But still issues to iron out. Palace game a reminder that faster tempo, athleticism & more direct play can help at times too

For 45 mins, Everton looked laboured & tactically confused. The rejigged setup did not work

Then came the HT adjustments & fightback. Alcaraz, in particular, superb

I'm not suggesting he should play up front. I'd rather they gave Barry a proper run. Maybe others are though. Also not sure "disgusting performances" is fair. There have been tough times, no doubt, as he's acknowledged but never due to lack of effort (1/2)
