"The Preston fans are saying they should cherish him because he is a top, top player. The last loan player they said that about was Jordan Pickford"

Meant the post but that too I guess. They did have two right backs on bench v Palace though

I'd imagine that's quite a bit before his time 😂

Everton are evolving. Grealish's impact on style clear & they now lead PL in certain metrics (cutbacks etc)

But still issues to iron out. Palace game a reminder that faster tempo, athleticism & more direct play can help at times too

Analysing Everton’s shifting style: Less direct, more cutbacks, better chances
New signings and a new era have meant a change in approach on the pitch. It is still early days but the data clearly shows a team evolving

All about balance. They need Branthwaite back and proper right back

or alcaraz. the reliance on grealish is mentioned in both the post and the linked article btw

Sorry mate, I don't do our social media so you'd need to ask them. That said, don't see the problem with the post given he's yet to play here

For 45 mins, Everton looked laboured & tactically confused. The rejigged setup did not work

Then came the HT adjustments & fightback. Alcaraz, in particular, superb

This felt like the new stadium's first proper 'Goodison' moment

As Everton’s search for front line fluency goes on, their supporting cast steps up
Moyes’ decision to replace Barry and Dibling, over £60m worth of signings, at half-time was an admission of error. It also changed the game

Yes. They also need to give him proper service though
paddyboyland.bsky.social
Today's view from the press box 🔵

Big chance for Dibling & Barry
paddyboyland.bsky.social
He's also scored some really pivotal goals (Palace, Spurs) that played a part in Everton avoiding relegation at a crucial period in the club's history
paddyboyland.bsky.social
I'm not suggesting he should play up front. I'd rather they gave Barry a proper run. Maybe others are though. Also not sure "disgusting performances" is fair. There have been tough times, no doubt, as he's acknowledged but never due to lack of effort (1/2)

Before being moved to defence in Man United's academy, Michael Keane was a goalscoring midfielder for his junior team. He's now a consistent finisher for Everton - 5 up on his xG since records began

A player who has Moyes' trust

Is Michael Keane the best finisher at Everton?
The 32-year-old centre-half has revived under David Moyes this season and is playing a key role - at both ends of the pitch

I compared it with his last two seasons at Leicester actually. He hardly played for Chelsea
