🍂 Happy first day back to class!

Back in 1946, Marjory Rogers Donaldson painted what a typical class would look like for her. Painting right in the Owens Art Gallery was a common occurrence, allowing students to learn to paint by copying works from the Owens Collection.
🎉 Welcome to all the new students arriving for orientation today!

As you find your way around campus, you're always welcome to drop into the Owens. The friendly student assistants (like Teagan) are ready to answer your questions about exhibitions, internships, and events! + Admission is always free

👀 Tell your dog I said hi! It’s #InternationalDogDay

Alex Colville often placed animals at the heart of his work saying ‘Without animals everything is incomplete.’ In Border Collie (1972), a focused collie meets our gaze, ready to work with the flock of sheep in the distance.
🏡 Last chance this summer: Visit Colville House this week!
