Looking forward to U-con. Packed too many games. Looking forward to finding vegan restaurants with Tim. So far the meatless Coney Island looks interesting. I went to college nearby and coney island restaurants were a regular thing. Cincinnati is not the same.

Vietnamese dinner last night, Lebanese tonight. Classic Jazz in the background at both. Relaxing after a long day at a conference. Glad to be heading home tomorrow morning.

A convention with people from around the world. Guy from the west coast asks me what he should eat in Ohio. Besides chili all I could think of was lots of meat. While here I've had pho, ramen, and just found a 'soul food' restaurant.

Out of town for a conference. Apparently the orange/brown team and orange/teal team are preparing for gladiatorial combat and I am not dressed correctly.

@boardgamefeast.bsky.social So tell me more about Vancouver. We like parks. The big trees of Stanley, but how do you get there? Van Duesen looks easier. Probably a museum if weather is uncooperative. She likes tea so an afternoon tea wouldn't hurt. I have my eye on a dumpling or dim sum shop.
