Fav: Shadow the Hedgehog was a canon event for me. He was scientifically designed for me and is undoubtedly top 5 coolest characters in fiction. Yes, he's edgy. Yes, he skates instead of runs. SO?! ITS COOL.

Fav: You won't find many games with a more immaculate vibe than this. The music and the visuals just put you in a surreal yet chill vibe. Like getting high without the side effects.

Fav: Man, I can't pick one thing. From start to finish, this game is just a joy to play. The combat feels good, the story is awesome, the characters are cool...just a great game.

Blegh: Some of these enemies were tanks for no reason. Just damage sponges, even with their weaknesses. Annoying...

Fav: Morality based powers is fucking cool. And not just color but whole ass powers with the blue lightning being more precise and effective while red was damaging and destructive.

Blegh: Staying on the good side was hard as hell. It might be a skill issue, but fuck was it hard to stay blue.

Fav: The Royal content is so worth it. I love (almost) everything they add to the already amazing base game. If you've heard me yap about P5R, it's usually about the Royal stuff.

Fav: THIS GAMEPLAY IS SO VISCERAL. It helps that the game looks so good. Not many games can look that brutal in pixel art, but Blasphemous does it well.

Blegh: Be prepared for the NPCs to talk in fluent Bible. There were times I needed to re-read dialogue because they talked in ye olde circles.

Fav: I'm a sucker for samurai movies and that's all this is. A good samurai movie you get to play. From the swordplay to the story, this is just an immaculate game that does the genre justice.

Fav: That man Death is HIM. He's so FUCKING COOL. War was alright, but goddamn it playing as Death just feels SO AWESOME. He's fast, stylish and just a badass. He FEELS like walking Death.

Fav: What a story. This game's narrative stuck with me well past the end of the game. It really carried me past the so-so gunplay. I think everyone should play it for that alone.

Blegh: I kinda wish it had something like a quest list. It's way too easy to miss content or stumble into it way later.
