It might be too complex to do things the way I was originally thinking, but might do some brainstorming on how incould make it work

OK, got my final sketch pass done, ready to move on to inking next and then maybe some coloring and shading.
Might take a small break from this to do some more drawing rather than refining, just to stay on top of things

I've done a couple of refinement passes on the last sketch and I'm starting to feel it come together more and more. I think it still needs one more good pass with some adjustments to the canvas size, and then I'll consider inking it.

Well I typed this up once already just for bsky to delete it for me,so let's try again...
I miscounted so the last picture was actually the 30th so the challenge is over. Definitely still have a ways to go, but also think I'm doing a lot better than before.

I changed the upper muzzle a bit to make it a little fuller looking
I'm not sure what I want to do with the patterns, I tried a few variations, none of them seemed terrible, but nothing's clicked yet to make me think one looked "right"

I did do a drawing yesterday as well, but it honestly came out too similar to the reference I was using to feel comfortable posting it, so I'm not counting it
Today though, I'm much happier with where things are at, even though I'm a bit iffy on the hand I drew

Decided to shake things up a bit since I wasn't really feeling any particular poses, I'm kinda surprised by how much I don't hate how this came out lmao

The colors aren't quite 1:1 but I think that's part of the fun right? I'm still not quite sure on the ears, I was kinda thinking making them more round was somewhat ottery, but they end up looking more like puppy ears all floppy like that 🤔

I've noticed that my muzzles are still pretty weak, and my favorites of what I've drawn really de-emphasize them, so i ended up doing a pretty extensive study on artists who draw some HEFTY (and very handsome) muzzles.

I did also manage to at least start my next course exercise. Only did about 1/4 of it, but it feels like the inertia is mostly gone now at least,so we keep on trucking
