Why It Matters?

This film is not just a documentary. It’s a platform for Lama and the people of Gaza to be heard by the world. They are already suffering unimaginably, and I believe it’s our duty as artists and storytellers to amplify their voices without distortion, sensationalism, or delay.

Open Call for Collaborators

This isn’t just about funding. If you’re a musician, editor, translator, or creative of any kind and you’d like to help bring this project to life I’d love to hear from you. Your contribution could be about anything.

So far, I’ve spent over $13,000 of my own funds. All of it has gone to documenting this vital story as accurately as possible. Telling a story about the people of Gaza carries great responsibility, and I’ve done my best to avoid any mistakes that could cause further harm or misrepresentation.

If I reach a minimum of 1.5 ETH (about $5,000 USD), I will be able to:

-Dedicate myself full-time for the next two months
-Travel back to finish shooting the remaining scenes
-Rent essential gear
-Complete editing and post-production

While I managed to shoot a significant portion of the film, I sadly couldn’t finish it due to budget constraints. On top of that, I went into debt during production and had to take on jobs and pay off those expenses. Now, I want to return to this project with full focus.

It tells the story of Lama Jamous, a 9 y.o. Palestinian girl who reports on the war in Gaza with remarkable clarity and courage.

Through Lama’s eyes, we also follow the lives of the people she interviews—what they have endured, what they’ve lost, and how they continue to survive amidst devastation
