I always liked the story of old Mills and Boon books being pupled to help build a major road in the UK 🙃

Thank you!!! Yes!!! That has been driving me crazy. Used to follow her on twitter. Lost a lot of the artists I follow when I moved to bluesky.
@womensartbluesky.bsky.social Hi, can you help me? Trying to remember the name of a contemporary artist who paints wonderful rural scenes of women walking with cats, in woods, beaches, at home, as well as other subjects. From Norfolk I think. I can see her work in my head, but the name has gone. X
Like if you write negative messages (e.g. F Off) to colleagues in needle point, or something, suddenly that would be okay?

here is a post I just wrote about how to have a really nice weekend this weekend. it would have been my mother's 83rd birthday today, we're here for a good time not a long time. don't hoard enjoyment, spend it.

are you keeping enjoyment for 'best'?
cos I realised I am! let's stop doing that?!

How can you be living your 'best life' if you keep saving the best for later? Interesting thought.
I didnt realise this was another issue I had! My gma bought me up to always use things, after living through in the blitz and losing all the things kept for 'best'. Never appreciated that I do this with experiences. Books, days out, places to visit, etc.
Ooo thanks. Just switched over.
And the family must know a lot more than publically stated, and know it is not going to go away. Maybe this is a sign of more info being released?
I wanted to say the same thing!
Not sure if you can get this outside the UK, but I think you might like it:

Wow. My typing is awful. I hate predictive text, but I can see I could benefit from it!
Is it okay that Infind this hopeful? In the way an unwelcome gueat might be about to leave?
Despite being 50yrs since women can get a mortgage without the "permission" of their fathers or husbands, I still feel like I have to justify my current living arrangements. Being a single person living by themselves should not be an "alternative" lifestyle. Makes me tired.
