Angel’s plan should work. Husk didn't see why it wouldn't. If this casino was where he spent a lot of time, like Angel said, then it would be helpful in getting his memories back. And there was an emotional tie to it. Like Husk's emotional tie — of hatred — to Alastor, and his tie — of love — to Angel. There was a sense of intrinsical discomfort here.
"C'mon baby!" Angel attached himself to Husk's arm which was absolutely ridiculous because the spider was like three feet taller than him. They looked ridiculous. "Let's do a lil blackjack, some poker, what about roulette? What's calling your name?"
The bar. Husk thought but didn't say, side-eyeing the nearest bartender and the bottle of whiskey over their shoulder. Angel was trying his best, he was giving him options. Least Husk could do was indulge him.
"Roullette?"
Angel perked up and pulled Husk in that direction.

"We have a pig." Husk commented, stepping into Angel’s room, greeted immediately with Fat Nuggets snuffles and oinks.
'We have a pig,' echoed in Angel’s mind. The immediate assumption that the two of them would live together would live in Angel's mind for a while to come.
"What’s his name?"
"Fat Nuggets." Angel choked out.
Husk bent over to pet the pig between the ears. "Of course you would name him that."
"Hey!" Angel was brought out of his thoughts just enough to be offended and to shoot back. "How do you know that you didn’t name him?"
Husk scoffed, shooting Angel a grin that made the spider's heart flutter. A look that said 'we both know damn well I did not name this pig Fat Nuggets'. He looked so much like his old self. He sounded exactly like Husk making fun of Angel for his pet's silly name. Just like the person Angel had fallen in love with. Fuck. Angel had to look away before he did something stupid like cry.

"Alright, I've had my fun. Let's get you up to speed." The man didn't drop his grin. Husk hated it. "Your name is Husk. You're not an old man in a casino. You're not in a fur suit, this is your body." He gestured to Husk's furry body. "You're in Hell and you're dead, have been for a while."
Husk hated every single word coming out of this guy's mouth. But he couldn't fight some instinctual fear in his spine. He wanted to fight. To run away. To tear off this fur suit just to prove the guy wrong.
The radio guy looked around as if in deep thought. "This time… you're in the hotel. Oh we haven't done this dance here yet.” He smiled like that was exciting. “You work at the bar downstairs, serving the residents drinks. You work for me. Or rather… I own you."

Husk sighed, setting down his empty glass. He'd talked with Thomas briefly about how to broach this subject with Angel and Thomas had just straight up told him 'I'm not qualified for this shit,' and ran away with one of his therapy books. So that had been no help. Husk had to do this blind.
And for someone who had never cared this much about a romantic relationship before now, he hated how out of touch he felt. He loved Angel and didn't want to hurt him. Didn't want to say something stupid or make incorrect assumptions. And he didn't want to make whatever was going on worse.
