Mean time, I'm working on a v2 of the bot anyways so bugs won't be fixed immediately (why this account has been so quiet).

As of today, we're fully running on Pyro! 🎉🥳
Aside from the database, which is still MongoDB.

The new privacy policy is not ready yet, but all that's really going to change is adding a link to Pyro's Privacy Policy, as our core policy hasn't changed.

Stable hosting... finally...

We've partnered with @pyro.host to beef up our hosting. We're no longer going to be running on a raspberry pi soon!

In a week's time, Orchid will be fully running on their infrastructure, and an updated Privacy Policy will be issued. Read it!

Absolute worst case if a bad actor accesses my server (which nobody will) is that the token gets grabbed and you guys get spammed.

In which case I'd just reset the token and it's business as usual. But again, that's never happening, so don't worry 😉

What does this mean for user privacy?

Nothing, really. While pyro technically CAN access the server, it doesn't mean they WILL. And even if they DO, it's not a big deal, because nobody's passwords are saved on the database.

We are a FOSS project, and our code in it's entirety is available @ github.com/kyanoxia/orc...

All you need is a MongoDB database to hold any information, and you're good to go!
