It's not an inaccurate read imo? Talis spends his story naive to his hero casting. Giopara is shown to be aware of it and its gravity. Talis is at the start of Paragon, optimistic. Giopara is at the end, a pessimistic old man. Even if not literal, the vibe exists in the dynamic.

Might edit these later, I did forget to adjust the white balance, but god damn if challenging myself to shoot in manual focus more isnt paying off. Wildlife/nature/pet photos are like getting thrown into the deep end and having to learn on the fly, but that's not bad.

A zoomed out shot of the same thing, the red dragonfly on a stem of was used to be a flower. Now parts of the background are more visible but still very blurred. My white balance is off, so the shot is very yellow.

And then compare that to how historically Jewish men were stripped of masculinity to alienate them, so Viktor had to define masculinity for himself. There was no access to "conveniently masculine" for him like there was for Jayce.
