I wanted to think that way at first but since I don't agree with the configuration I choose to go more abstract — obsession and jealousy!! Cherry is envious and admires Adam, Adam envies Joe's carefree nature and the relationships he gets to have, and Joe can't help but be obsessed with Cherry!
