Action already in full swing on the #CanucksThisWeek beat this week, with all five Canucks at the ATP/WTA level playing Tuesday, a big women's ITF in Toronto and a smaller men's ITF in Trois-Rivières.
So ... much CanCon.
The full roster is here.

On the ATP TOur side - two new returns to the top 10 – Casper Ruud and Félix Auger-Aliassime , as the injured Jack Draper and Holger Rune drop.

And new highs for the Basel champ and finalist.
It's Monday's updated rankings – on Sunday!!!

Monday's updated WTA rankings are here! On Sunday!
And this is the week where they cut all of last year's Tour Finals points, so Zheng and Krejcikova are feeling the pain at the moment.
And Victoria Mboko is back as Canadian No. 1.
It's all here:

The field is still full this late-season week on the #CanucksThisWeek beat.
FAA, Shapo and Diallo all in action in Paris; a lot at stake for FAA.
Canadian content at the Tevlin Challenger in Toronto, and a men's 15K in Trois-Rivières, and a lot more.
Roster here:

The three champions Sunday on the ATP Tour are all in the race to make the Tour Finals next month.
So they helped their cause, and some of the young'uns made some moves.
Today's updated rankings are here:

A lot of events this week: two WTA, three WTA 125s, and a number of high-level ITFs.
So a lot of moves, and a lot of career highs, and some great Canadian news.
Monday's updated WTA rankings are here!!
(On Sunday. Barely. it's been a busy day)

Anecdotally (we'll dig if no one else does), it's highly likely that never in Canadian tennis history have two Canucks won high-level singles titles on the same day.
And there was more.

THIS week? The tennis gods are screaming REVENGE.
We wrap it here:

Before Félix Auger-Aliassime hoisted the hardware in Brussels Sunday, Leylah Fernandez did the same at the other end of the world, earning her second title of 2025 in Osaka.
Big Canuckian day, eh?

Spoke to Félix Auger-Aliassime after his win in Brussels - his 8th career title.
He sounded tired; it was a physical and tense week of tennis – but also pleased, and happy to give himself a shot at making the ATP Finals.

Here is Tereza Valentova, Leylah Fernandez's opponent in the Osaka final just under way, during the US Open qualifying.
Last week, the three top Canadian men were all at different ATP events.
This week, they're all in Basel.
And a big female contingent in Sagunay
The #CanucksThisWeek roster is PACKED this coming week.
Check out where everyone's playing right here:

She's rallied since then, and is 8-2 in her last two events coming into Tampico.
No. 4 seed and defending champ (and Canadian) Marina Stakusic gets a rematch v No. 5 seed Hanne Vanderwinkel at the WTA 125 in Tampico, Mexico tonight.
They played in the 1st round of USOpen qualies, and Stakusic wasn't in a good place.
And on the men's side, full slates in Kazakhstan, Belgium and Sweden, as the Canadians wait for their next opponents.
And, in a bad-luck draw, the Ymer brothers face each other in Stockholm.
Monday results, Tuesday skeds right here.

Even with the women still in Asia, there's a time-thoughtful Canuckian doubleheader tonight (from 10:30 pm EDT/7:30 p.m. PDT) with Leylah Fernandez, followed by Bianca Andreescu.

All the Tuesday skeds, plus Monday results, here:

It was a REALLY good week for Arthurs and Valentins in terms of career-high rankings on the ATP Tour – not just the two cousins in Shanghai. (No, really! What are the odds?)
We break down the big moves here:

From the "tennis is a sport for a lifetime" file - the ITF World Masters championships for the 75-, 80- and 85-and overs are going on right now in Croatia.
How hot are these ladies, truly (the ones in green are the Aussie 85-and-over squad)
It's been a couple of weeks, so plenty of rankings updates on the WTA Tour side, with three spots remaining in singles and doubles for the year-end finals.
Monday's list - brought to you on Sunday!

En fait, lorsque la madame m'a contacté, je pensais qu'il n'y aurait qu'une version en français. C'est un peu ce qu'elle m'a dit - une grande première pour leur contrat francophone avec Netflix.
