Whoever wrote that CFT survey is in my mind unconnected with these guys, and, I'd rather have shit atmosphere than a bunch of undertone of racist bs. (and I'm being nice there..)

Totally. My point was just the people I think organising this (vs latching on), went to a lot of lengths to try and make a change without alienating / being twats. To have a decently loud section you do have to do something to move people together. But that can't happen over night / match by match.

But that's a mile away from the CfT stuff in their survey about moving out "tourists" which was at best clumsy. At worst the intent was what everyone read it as. IMHO sitting more vocal people together in south stand is good. Policing how you support the team, bad. 🤷

To be fair I don't think the CFT lot are the same as song sheet or ROTS. The stuff shared that went to the club was saying create a new standing section (lower south where it was designated for safe standing but isn't now), and consult with fans there about moving or not. I'd be v.behind that

Poss Graham, trophy or no, he was the antethesis of football for me growing up. 1-0 to the long ball team.. Hated him at ours more than I think any other manager (even late "club signing" era conte, which I think was more rank than moureen. Though it's close..)

Yeah, Exactly. I do think that there is a responsibility on coaches, tactician etc. The whole wankonng over how great arteta is at OOP and being "street smart" had a pretty obvious conclusion. Gooners ruined football (again). Maybe that should be the title of a book? Graham->arteta. Same shit.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. My very, very, very strong preference is Dom comes back and we start doing radical shit like passing through that acre of space in the middle of the pitch and having 3rd man runs and all that crazy stuff that seems to have been replaced by long bombas..

I wonder if ultimately RKM would be better suited than solanke. Bit more pace and (at least in European leagues) decent in the air?
That said I love do, think he's underrated, but agree that doesn't feel our current play would work well for him.
