Jo Addleton, our Principal, kicked off a day of #ProfessionalDevelopment by talking to @steplab.bsky.social educators about the vision of our school and the role #PD and #IC play in achieving this vision. #ProudlyDifferent

We worked alongside NW London Teaching School Hub and @ambitioninstitute.bsky.social to ensure that ECTs across the borough get our high level of quality CPD. Over the course of two weeks, led by Maria Craster, we welcomed ECT 1s and 2s to think about the importance of #CPD and #wellbeing. 💬

At ODA we know how powerful play can be and so we were happy to welcome parents of our #Nursery and #Reception students to join us for a workshop all about play and how we can use it to support with the development of #Communication and #Language. Thank you to Boromi for their amazing resources.

At ODA we are constantly striving to improve so that we can ensure our students have an outstanding team of adults supporting them every day. We’ve been busy engaging in lots of rehearsal and feedback as part of our deliberate practice sessions this past week #coaching #DP

At Bootcamp, we delved into the curriculum, planning collaboratively in our new teaching teams, welcoming new colleagues, preparing classrooms and rehearsing key teaching techniques. All of this so that when our students walk through the doors next week, we’re ready to give them the very #beststart!

We returned a week early for our staff Bootcamp to make sure we’re fully prepared for the new academic year. Over the past few days, we’ve come back to our why—reconnecting with our vision and STRIVE values (#Scholarship, #Teamwork, #Responsibility, #Integrity, #Value, #Effort).
