Yes it’s why I find it odd and different. I’m not watching the entire show dubbed and I don’t think it’s available. It’s just when the antagonists communicate it’s English. I don’t know if it’s to distinguish them or if it’s based on something where that’s how the source is

I haven’t paid enough attention to see if it’s ai. They do mispronounce words or skip words that are used for grammar in English and not used in Chinese. There’s no English anywhere else in the series beyond when the antagonists speak to one another
