Trump’s health care claims are “a crock”: Time is running out for Congress to address rising health care costs as millions face steep premium hikes when ACA subsidies expire at year’s end. @michaelsteele.bsky.social and @congressmanboyle.bsky.social slam Trump’s inaction.

By throwing millions off their insurance, the GOP thinks people will finally support repealing the ACA. They're underestimating how many people are paying attention. They want us to suffer, physically and financially, to "own the libs." I'm so fucking angry. People will die. People will go bankrupt.
Ossoff: "She's gonna have to give up her insurance in the middle of chemotherapy while she's fighting breast cancer. What are people supposed to do when they lose health insurance in the middle of a cancer battle? ... this is life or death"

If ACA subsidies aren’t extended, the CBO estimates 2.2 million people will lose their health insurance in the first year, and even more thereafter (www.cbo.gov/system/files...).
People are going to die because of the pending insurance premium hikes. I know the terrain of discourse is inconsistent and goes through a tumble cycle every 24 hours, but I really think we need to hone in on this reality and drive it home for people.
