the bottom line is that we spend tiny amounts of money individually on snap benefits and the republicans are currently holding snap hostage in an attempt to deny trans people basic healthcare. we need to stop blaming each other and start blaming billionaires, whose faults this actually is

amazed people are still trying to blame snap recipients for their situations rather than understand that the basic function of society should be to care for everyone, especially the needy, and that paying for someone else to eat is ok actually.

you can watch what happens, btw. there’s plenty of footage. if it makes you uncomfortable to watch said footage, you should probably stop eating animals.
they don’t feel any less pain than kaya, and literally trillions go through slaughterhouses every year. it’s easy to stop contributing to that.

it’s so ridiculous that people are trying to smear hasan for “animal abuse” because they think he shocks kaya but not because he eats animals on stream. like, y’all. what do you think happens to the animals before they’re packaged up and served as food? it’s not hugs and kisses.

plus they all compete with themselves to see which can be the worst. of course they’ll put effort into some stores, but most are more like i described. they’re stressful places to work and finding a good boss is pretty rare ime

it’s so fucked up how evil national grocery chains are. they monopolize their area and then tank the quality of their stores. they underpay their employees, force their stores to operate on not even skeleton crews at all times, schedule people in the worst possible ways, charge w/e they want, etc. 😓
