I will also say that the earlier Esprit uses the gearbox from the Citroen SM/ Maserati Merak and 205t16 which could have handled the extra power obviously but they stopped making it

Years ago I wrote a tweet saying that the correct plural of Lotus is Lotus and it was apparently the most controversial thing I ever posted however Throttle House just made a video on the Esprit V8 in which Hi I'm James says the official plural of Lotus is Lotus. Not Lotuses, not Loti, Lotus

That'll never do. I'm a coffee and tea drinker but I'm very broken, I could drink a triple espresso before bed and get a full 12 hours the issue is I've been burning the candle at both ends.
