I didn't even up having time last year but have far to much on my unemployed hands right now. What game do you want to see gingerbreaded?
Every holiday break I bake up a gingerbread board game creation. Time to start planning this years bake. Any suggestions? What game would you like to break off a chunk of?

We saw @pdxcenterstage.bsky.social's fabulous production of Little Women on Louisa May Alcott's birthday.

In the book, Meg points out November is the most disagreeable month in the whole year (it's true in #neuro, it's such a bad month for #migraines and #seizures)

Update: this beast of a game had quite the learning curve but then was REALLY fun.
Like almost all games we enjoy, we thought I was probably winning until the last round when suddenly he beat me. It's a good vibe.
Also his character was a rum-runner named Ruthless Ajani. I mean. Say less.

World: psst! Pediatricians are about to break

White House: oh, let’s make SNAP benefits harder to access

World: getting closer!

WH: let’s not forget ICE terrorizing communities, making families scared to come to medical appointments

World: idk, peds are pretty tough, they’ll find ways to help!

Life update: we hired a new pediatric neurologist at my work in September, he sometimes brings me SOUP (I'm not even kidding, this is a real person) and he put this frog in our mutual office

(also, good at being a neurologist, this is important but soup is the real winner tbh)

I never met Alice Wong in person, but like so many great writers I felt like I knew her - and unlike many, when I emailed she emailed right back. ❤️

Peds neurologist @dianacejasmd.bsky.social has a beautiful essay in Wong's Disability Visibility collection - I recommend it to physicians. #neurosky

Recently I gave a history talk and a woman said "this is more a comment than a question, but I want you to be my friend" and it was MY FAVORITE MORE A COMMENT THAN A QUESTION EVER 🥰🥰🥰

(Sometimes it's about what's in the comment. I get a lot of men with "hey, hey, I also know a history thing.")
