Do you think this Listeria contamination has happened because 1000s of USDA inspectors have been fired? What about other cases that might be missed? It terrifies me-I am powerless and cannot compensate; it's just less safe to eat anything now.

Let me explain how this works: there are more people fearlessly protesting than there are armed forces, national guards, ice goons, cbp, fbi, atf, secret service, cia, police and security rent-a-cops.

A windy storm didn't help back east, but oh Utah and Colorado had great color leaves AND snow at the same time, a rare pairing. Generally leafers have had widely varying conditions in the last 15 years. Could something be changing?

"Bubble" suggests nothing remains when it pops. That's not my view. There will be specific and bounded use cases where immense value will be found. It will not be ubiquitous, at least not for a good while, for both technical, economic and ethical reasons.

These are a test. If you do not have a problem with these acts, you have failed the test, at least as far as the founders and the rest of the world are concerned (except Russia and some other small, insignificant totalitarian regimes).
