Oh it isn’t. You can provide a date in the past for ordering, but the metadata shows the actual create date. These are old tweets backdated to when they were originally posted.

This account is my old Twitter feed. Using the Bluesky API you can set the original Tweet's date so tweets display in the original chronology. The metadata shows the true creation date and that it was backdated.

I had the same problem with early http links. I don't know if this is helpful or correct, but I hacked this into app.ts to catch the error and leave the original URL for bad URLs.

Twitter is like a free city bus you catch every day. The bus company changes hands and the drivers start blasting right wing radio to all the passengers. Paying passengers are allowed to pull out the other passengers' headphones to shout at them. Busses are called X now.
