We know farmers are often being paid less than it costs to produce food.
We know the public struggle with the continuing rise of the cost of living.
We know, or are told, supermarkets struggle for cash to pay staff.
So where is the money going? Who to believe? Or, who do we disbelieve? Guess.
Is a longstanding UK injustice going to end? Let us hope Joint Enterprise, which our Supreme Court said back in 2016 had taken a "wrong turn" is really being investigated as the Director of Public Prosecutions told the Commons Justice Committee.
