The Dreamcast seemed so futuristic compared to the Nintendo 64 when I was a kid. A friend got one for Xmas and we played it constantly. His older brother even burnt homebrew games.
Then he got a PS2 after its launch the next Xmas and we didn’t touch the Dreamcast again until 10-12 years later.

27 years ago today, the Sega Dreamcast was originally released in JP. It was distributed by Sega.
