And yeah that whole “ripping your own skin off to reveal the beast within” that they did for VH was RAD as hell - but the CG is a little dated now.

Van Helsing is one of those films my partner and I regularly think is going to be a good re-watch, but one that consistently and QUICKLY reminds us that we’re wrong.

A bit like Prometheus, or a tipsy shag.

The memory of it is better than the actual thing itself.

I would argue that the Dog Soldiers wolves are quite mascotian.

Perhaps out of the four I mentioned, flippantly, I’d be most pleased with the physique of a Van Helsing wolf.

Today I’m thinking about the flat faced werewolves like Wolf Man and Oz from Buffy… and also the snout men werewolves like from Van Helsing and Dog Soldiers.

I think if I was a werewolf, I’d be ragin if I was one of them flat faced ones.

We had been working on this “idea” for years, before it became what it is. This most recent iteration - the one that became The Bad Articles - was originally called Osnádurtha.
